A small Sunshine Coast Craftsman House "The Willgoose House"
Circa 1910 design
My largest single project to date.
I put the business on hold and we lived In a travel trailer in the driveway of this property for one year to build this home.
Spending another year making all the wood furniture seen here, vanities, and all wood trim.
We finally built our own home from scratch.
Thanks to my buddy Garry Godin for helping me build and figure out my first house.
Without Garry, this home would have not been possible. He was a true master.
Also thanks to Doreen my wife for her great blueprint modifications, perfect colors, painting skills, awesome design ideas, and her excellent custom craftsman window covering work.
This house is now sold when the wood business grew too big, and we needed a much larger piece of land and bigger shop.
Keeping with an old tradition of craftsman homes, I hid some small surprises in a few of the walls and under floor boards.
One day someone will demo this house and maybe even find them.
